AMOSS LLP Appoints Four New Partners across Firm

AMOSS LLP is delighted to announce the following partnership appointments effective 1 January 2025: Gráinne Adams (Real Estate), Eoin Mackessy (Corporate), Andrea de Courcey (Corporate) and Hazel Ruane (Banking and Finance).

Gráinne was one of the first solicitors to join AMOSS back in 2012. As a senior member of the Real Estate team, she focusses on the acquisition and financing of land for residential and mixed-use developments and thereafter the drafting of schemes for new home developments. Gráinne also advises on, and acts in, the sale of multi-unit schemes to Approved Housing Bodies.

Eoin is the most recent of our four new partners to have joined, having landed just as COVID kicked off. Despite that challenge, he has successfully developed his corporate practice where he advises on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, commercial agreements and corporate restructuring across a number of sectors and markets.

Andrea joined the Corporate team in 2017 and has become one of the main stays in our general corporate offering. She has particular experience in advising on all aspects of corporate governance and compliance and in advising on, and implementing, corporate reorganisations and restructures. Her day-to-day portfolio also incorporates private equity transactions and both share and business disposals and acquisitions.

Hazel, like Gráinne, was one of our first hires in 2012. Since then she has been an integral part of our Banking team. She specialises in all types of real estate finance with particular emphasis on residential development and commercial real estate transactions.

Commenting on these appointments, John O’Sullivan, Managing Partner, says “I am thrilled to be announcing these appointments. All four share the AMOSS philosophy of “client first” and each is fully deserving of promotion to Partner. I am confident that these appointments reflect a further enhancement of the services we offer our many, and loyal, clients. It also reflects the confidence we have in the future of AMOSS LLP.”
